POINT OF SALE AND VIRTUAL POS

POS stands for Point of Sale .

The main purpose of the POS is the collection of sales operations. There are different types of POS. First, physical for standard commerce in-person, and second, virtual for ecommerce.

In-person POS may be of different types. For example in the case of PIN PAD integrated into the cash register or POS, autonomous POS mode with printer and self comunications, and charging in self-service among others.

We talk about Virtual POS when the purchase is made through the Internet. The TPV virtual is a web service and supports several variations.
